Managing Director Year End Message

“2023 has been a fantastic year for TMB as we continue to grow and cement our place as the leading Hospitality MSP. During this year we have continued to serve our customers and provide the highest possible levels of customer service and support. By delivering excellent service we have grown the number of customers, which has allowed us to increase the number of TMB colleagues throughout the year.

In IT we have seen significant changes to the cyber security landscape and we have developed our security stack and offering to ensure the best possible cover. As the commercial landscape develops and cyber liability insurance requires hoteliers to have better and different cyber security cover, so we have developed products and added new services for our customers.

For our Access Control team we have seen significant growth in both colleagues and customers and we are proud to be providing Salto security to many new hotel groups. We have also grown our CCTV business significantly during the year.

For the telephony arm of the business we have engaged with many hotels and customers to provide solutions before the Great Switch Off in 2025, when all analogue and ISDN lines will cease to work. There is much to do but we have provided 3CX and hosted solutions to a number of hotels and will continue to help where it is needed.

Our Projects team have been busier than ever with either openings or major projects completed at a number of Hilton, Marriott, Accor, IHG and independent hotels this year, and a record number either underway or in our pipeline for 2024 or 2025.

We are extremely pleased to welcome some new customers and look forward to working with you on your IT strategy in the future, whilst ensuring your security right now. Our new customers mean we also have a colleague employed in Amsterdam and we have added customers in five new countries during 2023. We have seen a few customers depart and we wish them all the very best and remain ready to assist if you need us.

So in summary, we are delighted that the UK and wider hotel industry is continuing to grow and thrive, and that we are the chosen partner for many of them to provide technology services. We are extremely grateful to the TMB Team for consistently delivering excellent results throughout the year and as we prepare for an even busier 2024 we hope that all of our customers, colleagues, partners and suppliers have a peaceful and prosperous new year.”
